Hotporation is a unique restaurant where we can taste traditional Chinese hot pot.
What is the Hot Pot?
Hot pot is not just a meal, but a form of spending time with loved ones and friends. Delicious broths are cooked in the center of the table, in which we cook all the selected ingredients. Guests are heavily involved because they prepare their own dish.
How much time do we spend in the restaurant?
Guests in our restaurant spend more time comparing to places with other cuisine. Talking at the table and cooking together makes visitors spend about two hours with us. Such a time frame is worth reserving when going to visit us.
How do you even cook it?
It is very simple, there are no rules or principles. You throw the ingredients of your choice into the cauldron and wait a few minutes. You can’t mess it up in any way. The flavours permeate each other depending on the cooking time. Thus, by choosing the same set several times, it can taste different each time.
How many people can be at one table?
Hot pot is most pleasantly eaten in larger company however guests also choose us for dates or quick lunches.
What kind of broths do we use?
Our broths are cooked using beef stock. We do not use pork for cooking. The flavors of each soup are in the form of natural extracts added to the beef base. Vegetarian options are prepared on the fly before each order using a vegetable base.
How to order?
Guests choose their broths at the beginning, then one of 6 sets. One set is usually chosen for two people. We can choose a larger portion of some favorite side dish or a board of meat to cook. Finally, there is a sauce, which is very important because it ramps up the flavor and gently cools down the ingredients that have been fished out.
Do all our guests use chopsticks?
Skill with chopsticks is not necessary. We have classic cutlery available.
Can guests bring their dog with them?
We are open to four-legged friends, they always get a bowl of water from us.
I'm in a wheelchair is this the place for me?
We have a gentle ramp, everyone can manage just fine, and the bathroom is spacious and wheelchair accessible.
Can I take uneaten food to go?
Tell the staff about this fact and we will do everything for you.
Is there parking in front of the restaurant?
In front of the restaurant we have a very large, free parking lot for our guests.
